Capistrano Highlands is a prestigious community in Laguna Hills, California. This single-family neighborhood offers luxury unattached homes and close proximity to recreation, freeway access, and services. There are no Home Owners Association dues, or Mello Roos taxes.
The Saddleback Unified School District provides facilities for this community such as highly ranked Lomarena Elementary School, La Paz Intermediate School, and Laguna Hills High School. Laguna Hills Community Center and Sports Complex offers 18 acres of recreation and education including an art gallery, gymnasium, banquet area, and fossil exhibit. The sports complex has fields for baseball, soccer, and softball. As well as a skateboard park, “prehistoric” playground, and roller hockey rink.
There are many stores and restaurants at local shopping centers like Aliso Viejo Town Center, Oakbrook Village Shopping Center, the Irvine Spectrum Center Rivera Plaza and Laguna Hills Mall which will reopen in 2017.
The City of Laguna Hills is on land that was originally purchased by Don Juan Avila. This upscale suburban city was named after its hillside location close to Laguna Beach, and Laguna Canyon. The city is known for its extravagent Fourth of July celebrations. This city is served by the Orange County Fire Authority, the Care Ambulance Service, and the Orange County Sheriff’s Department. And its biggest employer is Saddleback Memorial Medical Center.
